Holiday GST/HST Tax Exemption 2024-2025

Overall understanding is, the item must fit all ages under the age of 14 (this also means to the age of 3).

The following is a high level overview of our products that we have found to qualify or don't qualify for the tax exemption:

Majority of our model kits appear to qualify, but ONLY if the recommended age is below 14 years old. We are also following what appears that, some of the model kits have an age recommendation on the box.

• Broadly, most HG model kits qualify for tax exemption. We have found only a few HG model kits that do not (HG 1/144 Mazinger ZERO (INFINITISM)), so we believe most HG model kits are fine.
• Mega Size, PG, MG, MGSD, and RG model kits do not qualify as they are recommended ages 15+.
• Pokémon model kits, One Piece model kits, Entry Grade, EX-SD/BB/SDW all qualify.
• 30MM model kits qualify, but 30MS and 30MF do not.
• Some Figure-Rise Standard and Figure-Rise Amplified qualify.
• Some of the Macross model kits qualify with some exceptions.
• Most of the tools and accessories do not qualify.

To reiterate once more, these are the products we "believe" qualify for the tax exemption under the guidelines posted by the Government of Canada.
